Some of us got to go see the new Hobbit movie with friends last night - The Desolation of Smaug. We all really enjoyed the film and had such fun since we dressed up like Middle Earthians. :^) I thought I'd share some of the shots we took before heading out to the movie!

 “Since it is so likely that (children) will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage. Otherwise you are making their destiny not brighter but darker.”
-C.S. Lewis

There are brave people, like those who work with International Justice Mission, who are fighting with heroic courage the long and trying battle against Slavery.

Did you know they're are approximately 27 Million slaves in the world today? They need a voice, they need a defender.

You could be that hero.

I really have a hard time with the 'awesome/epic' face I was told to do. lol

IJM seeks to make public justice systems work for victims of abuse and oppression who urgently need the protection of the law. {source}

Campaign 1:17 seeks to bring awareness of modern day slavery to people, and raise funds for IJM to continue their work.

We - Kerry, Sara, Hope and Holly - are wearing dresses everyday for a month to raise awareness and funds for Campaign 1:17 to benefit IJM to save kids and woman like us live free.
