Dressember 10th

Dressember 10th

The Number: Average price of slave has decreased

Can someone really put a price on a life?

People are being sold today. And they are going cheap. Men, Women and Children are being bought and sold, bartered and traded, tricked and abused. For what?? So someone can make a dollar?

We are Hope, Kerry and Sara and we are
A-Dress-ing Social Justice.

We are wearing a dress everyday through December to raise awareness of
Modern day Slavery.

We are taking a stand, taking aim, and fighting for freedom

We are Princesses, Daughters of The King

We are called to more than sitting idle in the castle tower as millions around us suffer. We are 'Esthers' and have been called 'for such a time as this'! We are defenders and beacons of light in the darkness.

It's time to come outside the castle walls. Outside our comfort zones. Outside the familiar and dig into the dark and dank. The Savior came to get His hands dirty. He came to sit with the least of these. The neglected, the tricked, the trader, the broken and the bruised. He came to Seek and Save the Lost. We are to follow His perfect example.

We [Kerry, Sara, and Hope] have partnered with Grace at Campaign1:17 to raise funds for the International Justice Mission. IJM seeks to make public justice systems work for victims of abuse and oppression who urgently need the protection of the law. {source}

After 'dressember photos' we went sledding and then had hot cocoa with candy canes, whipped cream and marshmallows!

Yeah... We let the boys have hot cocoa, too.
