The Dash In Between

“These things have I spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

At the end of our life we get a tombstone. On that rock is engraved the date you were born and the date you died. And there's that little dash in between the two. That dash is what is important. That represents your life, good and bad, beautiful and ugly, it's all there. How did you live?

The dash in between life and death is promised to have tribulation. This is something every life will experience in this world to some degree. But there is One who has overcome each trial and the very world itself. And we can be cheerful each and every day we have as we rest in Him.

"The Dash In Between" is a 14 song album released July 10th 2013. It is a collection of original songs written and recorded by me, Kerry Bond. Songs about sorrows and triumphs. About Christ's love and true friendship. About life and death and the dash in between. They are birthed from some of my own experiences of being present at births, attending funerals, and participating in Christ centered friendships. Some are inspired by the experiences of others, friends and family who endured much and yet continue to Trust God in all circumstances.
